I just wanted to ask if there was any way that you could add more ways of making money in game. I get that you can sell stuff but as it is you need a LOT to start a shop and even when one is started it is easily outclassed by the convenience of the shops outside of spawn or the teleports. My suggestion would be testing out a few job plugins before deciding on one that's not too OP. Lastly id like to add that voting is good and all but it's not really fun and I believe that jobs would add more reasons to stay on the server for longer periods of time

Hey! I have a really good idea for this server! There needs to be a quiz (or trivium) on something in minecraft where a chat bubble pops up randomly in chat and
everyone races to answer it. For example: What is the mob "Shulker" short for?; answer: shell lurker. The player who first answers this question right will recieve 100b to 8000b depending on how hard the question was.

The issue with voting rewards is becoming rather major. New players are not staying, older ones are quitting, and what economy we had has stagnated. Most stuff in /ah is sold to newer players, as they want a shortcut to getting items. My wife would like to buy ranks, but cannot due to no source of money (She has turned down loans from me, she wants to get stuff by her own efforts.) My guess is other new players are in the same boat.
If the current voting system is not being updated to 1.12, is there some other voting rewards plugin we could get? Or maybe some other method for getting more money to new players, something to encourage them to stay, and get the economy moving again?

As for now we can't do much about the votifier rewards since its a third party. However I do want to let you know that we are working on other options for making in-money. How about kicking that third party to the side, and get some other voting reward system from a different third party who has actually updated it to 1.12? What do other servers use? Or is every single minecraft server, worldwide, without voting rewards because of this one third party? |
