This is like a hugeee map where you can see who's building where (and make sure you aren't building too close), you can also see where everyone is. You can also see what biome is where and how close you're next to it. I have to be honest no idea how you can make this but this is the map of one of the servers where i used to play on (the server is now dead i think). 158.69.26.30:8123/#

Believe it or not but this plugin has actually even been tested for the server and we as staff have determined it's not what we feel like is where we want to go with the server. there were two main reasons for this: 1) we kinda think having such a map is completely defying the survival part of our server. actually going out to explore and find new villages/structures/biomes is actually one of the biggest parts of the identity of trivium. with the map it became EXTREMELY easy to find even unexplored villages even though the settings were changed so only previously explored areas were visable on the map. 2) dynmap (this is the actual name of the plugin itself ) puts a MASSIVE stress on the server. just to show how bad this was, we let the dynmap run for about 24 hours and dynmap actually caused a fourfold increase of the server file size. this in turn will in the long run be responsible for massive restart times and lag even when hardly anyone is online. all in all i definitely see the potential fun dynmap can give, but this is greatly overshadowed by the disadvantages the same plugin brings.

Hey Kaytri,
First of all I want to thank you for posting a suggestion! Second of all I have to agree on what GG's says. We tested it out, but sadly it is a lot to take for our little server. Also the fact that people can abuse a map like that makes us a little wary to use it.
Sincerely,
Mioxa

One quick little thing i'd like to add is the extreme detail the plugin actually shares, one time i saw a mushroom on the dynmp under a tree, i flew over there and actually found that mushroom in that exact spot. you can probably see how this could kinda break the looking-for-resources part of the game
